KYMT is one of Scotland's oldest youth theatre groups, having celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2019.

KYMT is a group for anyone of high school age who wants to be part of a large scale musical with no audition required to join.

KYMT will restart on Tuesday 10th September at 7pm in St Bryce Church in Kirkcaldy. This initial session will end at 9pm, however our rehearsals following this will end at 9:15pm.

​

Due to our licensing agreement we are not allowed to advertise the show in any way until after September 22nd as it is currently completing a UK tour. Please come along to our first meeting on Tuesday to hear about the show, meet our Production Team for this year, and make a start to rehearsals.

We rehearse on Tuesday (whole cast) and Thursday (principals/dancers) evenings, at St Bryce Kirk in Kirkcaldy. 

There will be Dress/Technical Rehearsals the week of the shows to prepare for the performances.

We also rehearse on Sundays, beginning at the end of January, with a full day rehearsal on the final Sunday before show week- to run the show twice.

There is a annual £5 membership fee and then £2 to be paid each week at the Tuesday rehearsal. 

​

The current production team consists of John Urquhart (Production Manager),  Alan Urquhart (Musical Director) and Sophie Penman (Choreographer).
